Thnx phantom for the rpm feedback. I spoke with other youtubers, mine is runner higher then everybody else's. So i guess it's back to the shop? for my bike.

Sup. I have to say that mine doesn't touch the 9k mark unless I'm doing like 65-70. Around my area I tend to ride about 45-50 and run I? think about 6k-7k.

Got the same bike you have couple of months ago, but red. Tach question. Cruising on level surface, minimal wind, my rpm is reading 9K at only 55mph on 6th gear. Is this normal?? Everyone says this bike runs high on the tach, but never gives specifics. Watching other ninja 250 videos, the prior year models 08-10 seems to reach 7K at 55mph. So did they do something different to the 2012 model or is this my bike specific? What does? your tach average at 55mph on 6th gear?

Personally I think that look wise it is just fine besides the fender, a fender eliminator would be cool with some HID headlights and led tail lights. I think that it's only a 250 and you'll probably want something bigger and if you take a chance of? screwing the look up it will decrease the value of the bike. Performance wise though will most likely increase the value. There's my 2 cents.

Well if you're 15 chances are you have to wait 3 more years to buy one. Most states you have to be 18 to have a motorcycle license. You aren't going to learn to ride? a bike on youtube though......... Nice bike though man, I'm sure you're having fun on it!

Well im about to buy my first? bike, which is also gonna be a 2012 ninja 250r. At first i was gonna get the black one, but i dont really like the yellow stripes so im just gonna get the candy lime green. But i must say if you took off the yellow and just blacked it out completely, it would look completely badass!

I would be more of a fan of it if it was actual paint and not some sticker. I just think its a? little hard to match this particular color of yellow. :)

Best thing to do is take the MSF course. It's well worth it. I went in with no knowledge of riding but on day 2 my instructor said if I were to take the course again I would be ready to teach it since he was? impressed with how well I was doing.

Try using some kind of tape to cover around the yellow parts..and paint the yellow parts red with paint..or a sharpie. I would honestly try using a sharpie an see how it comes out....on just one stripe before just taking the stripes off. If it looks okay... I would put some tape around the parts and properly paint the yellow stripes red with paint made for plastic. Some brand needs to make OEM stickers in red or other colors like gold? or grey or white and sell them.

good video dude. i got the? 2011 all black. the yellow stripes show its a 2012,which is cool,im just not a fan of it. u can find rim decals on ebay in all colors,i got white to make mine stand out a bit.

But hwen you peel the yellow off, leave the middle grayish sticker on, since this accentuates? the reflective black. I'm telling you the aesthetics are freaking incredible after these mods. Looks great.

The yellow looks good on the bike, especially since the black isn't exactly pure black, it's like a reflective black. So yes it complements it nicely.? I just didn't appreicate the lightning bolt type pattern. I peeled them off, and replaced the "ninja" decal with a yellow "ninja" decal, then put on some yellow wheel tape. It looks fuc king gorgeouis. I may even get a cargo net or saddle bags to complete the deal lol

thx? for the advice, yeah it looks ok to me, but if you don't like all back then yeah it could be bothersome. However, if you plan to trade in the 250, after like 6 onths or so, then I agree, I'd leave them on for purposes of trade in. I guess leave em on if you can lol. I racked up 700 miles on my 250, but have the itch to trade in for a zx6 lol.
