This is the original album version (Burnin') from 1961. JLH didn't often use backing bands because he couldn't find one could keep up with him, but these cats could keep up with anyone! He? somehow talked Motown's house band, the Funk Brothers, into doing a little illegal moonlighting with him on this Vee-Jay LP. Still think it's the greatest version he ever did.
