@Saint305616 Worse, you probably grabbed a BIG lung full as you target fixated and your mind projected where you would crash. Result: fear, frozen shoulders and forearms = no steering. Try flapping your elbows going into a turn to encourage them to loosen.? Also try steering with the feet and knees for the big effort and hands for the fine adjustments.Practise going in slow and wide, crack throttle before the apex to weight the rear, roll on throttle going thru and keep it tight out.

Fantastic riding!! speeding, wearing sneakers, and not looking where you are going! If you wanna learn better riding tecnique, you should sell the bike and forget about 100 horsepower bikes, get a 250 cc? bike and learn all about apexing and reading the roads!

I wouldn't feel safe with a car so close behind me? on a bike.

@veefwoar You know this is the first I have heard of the 'Breath out' thing but I will keep that in mind. I cant remember now but I bet you are right, I probably did hold my breath as soon as I knew I was going? to the shoulder.

Mate I think you're a bit harsh on yourself with your sceond comment. You didn't look like you were being dangerous to others at all. Crashes happen and it's good that you weren't seriously injured. My biggest tip when you get into trouble:? BREATHE OUT. I'll bet you were holding your breath when you started going wide. Forcing yourself to exhale will help you relax and loosen your shoulders. Also keep your hands and arms relaxed and use your knees and feet more. Good luck! :)

@Saint305616 In my opinino you are correct, poor line followed by target fixation. Glad you are ok and also great to hear you have learnt from your crash and hopefully you are now a better rider for it. Check out "A Twist of the Wrist" by Keith Code, the book is better than the vid but both can help you to develope better riding skills. Good luck man and happy riding.?

Beautiful road !!! another good tip would be to get a 250cc to learn on before you try anything on a supersport600 !!! poor bike but she'll live and hopefully she'll see the track some day !!! ALL the top motorcycle racers learned on small bikes and moved up to bigger step by step... there is a? good reason why they did that, and look at them now, they get to race superbikes for a living !!!

Don't ride with your toes pointing? out , the Will hit the ground before you run out of lean angle causing to pick bike up and run off road .

By: Saint305616. on 01 Feb 12, 01:54:34
@cptbigole In my opinion, my 1st biggest error was trying to ride over what my limit was at the time. I wrecked because of 2 things, first, my line going in wasnt the best, should have came in wider then in towards the apex. Second, half way through the turn I lose focus and get my focus fixated on a dirt mound? on the side of the road, freaked out and couldnt stop looking at it so went right into it.

@Saint305616 You didn't look like you were doig anything too stupid, your bike could have made that turn eaisly, so if it wasn't the bike then it has to be? rider error. So my question to you is what was in your opinion what was your error or combination of errors?

@Saint305616 not so bad then its only a bike as long as your ok. be safe? man
By: Saint305616. on 31 Jan 12, 03:39:10
@TheFreedom7272 The fairings were roughed up and the fork got bent slightly, it wasnt bad enough to effect preformance but I went through left fork seals pretty quickly before replacing it.?
