Gotta disagree....You're apexing a corner, hanging off and scrubbing? hedgerows and nuts speeds given that you only have 50% of the road to play with. It's certainly not as 'safe' as track riding - but cheaper... And there's certainly skill there. But no, for the most part, road riders don't know how to get the best out of their bikes.
