4 stroke more expensive to maintain, I was a former? Motocross racer and I had both 2 stroke and 4 stroke. On the long run a 4 stroke is more costly. I personally don't mind mixing fuel, proper ratio will make the engine endure longer also less parts to replace less $ more power 2 stroke. Besides now a days there are biodegradable oils the companies should take a look at this get rid of bad oils not the bike. and absolutely continue the 2 stroke Bikes, 2 stroke for ever!

@dirtrider1526 i have a yz250f and? never have to adjust the valves. i change the oil every couple of rides and clean the air filter and that is it.

@goodbusiness12 you gotta remember with the four strokes its a pain to have to check the valves and adjust them? regularly, 4 strokes by far are worse to maintenance
