@jtcarwile That's why a 9 horse power kart (I can drive) will perform on a match with a 120 hp bike (you can drive) on a curvy circuit. Cornering, braking, balance. And remember biking is like Vegas: you must know? your limits!

@jtcarwile Lots of kids who argue here fail to know racing & think a bike is faster based straight line acceleration. ANYONE who ever RACED (not "driven fast", big distinction!) ANYTHING knows the gains are made in cornering and braking, least of all acceleration. A bike is 2nd to a car on any road with some corners and on most straight roads if? you count the refueling time :) I have stories - done cars, bikes, skydiving, greeted death, never met. Bikes are fun, cars are faster. Believe or not!

@kint909 With enough money and knowledge quite a few cars can gain the ability to stand against sportbikes in races. But most of the bikes are kept stock and thats the point. By the time you are on par with a bike in any car you have spent a great? deal of money. As far as living longer there are so many ridiculous statistics on how to live longer. I would rather live a shorter happy life than one hundred years without a story. Either way both are fun and were never intended to share a class.

@jtcarwile Err... not exactly. Many modified cars can outrun these (and of course the one here could kill the? R6 if the gears were not shifted with fuel consumption in mind). This is because of: better starting grip, better balance, better braking. Even in poorly motorized cars I've always made a mockery of drivers in corners. ALWAYS. Plus, driving a car statistically helps you live longer. That said, bikes are awesome for the sensation not necessarily the performance.

I think a lot of you kids who argue on these videos fail to realize-those of us who ride sportbikes own cars too. It's more about physics than anything. These bikes (stock) can out perform nearly every car in? every way and the few cars (less than 10) capable of out running them in any condition cost soo much that a rather sizable home, a car and a motorcycle could be purchased. And at the end of the day they are in different classes. Enjoy both and quit whining.

Lamborghinis are nice and bikes are nice they both have their ups? and downs but as u saw if it was a shorter race the r6 would of won but replace the r6 with an r1 and the Lamborghini wouldn't have stood a chance but nice race
