All of the details are in the full webBikeWorld review.? Go to webBikeWorld com and search for "Reevu MSX1" in the search box, or go to the Motorcycle Helmets page, where all the helmet reviews are listed.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking of doing. Switching from commuting on my bike to it being a recreational vehicle.? I love riding too much to let stupid drivers stop me from being on a bike. Oh and Thanks web bike world for the awesome reviews on this helmet and all my other gear that helped save my ass!

Hmmm...sounds like it's time to hang up the gloves and buy? a car!

I've owned two reevus in the last two years, I am an avid rider and been involved in two accidents in the last? 12 months. neither reevu showed any real signs of failure even in a fifty mile an hour collision in which I was flung over the car. I can attest that this helmet barely took any damage in both my accidents. The rearview system was amazing, I wont buy another helmet!

I dont think you can beat double D rings but I also dont think the quick release is unsafe in terms of coming undone.? What I have heard the main reason to be is that it might jam and paramedics struggle to cut through the plasic (or whateve it is made of) The double D ring comes undone with a scissors... :-)

Helmet is now DOT accredited. Also any one having trouble contacting Reevu keep trying, a lot internet attacks are going on trying to stop? people knowing about this helmet, so if you dont get a reply., Also check your spam for the replies.

I? agree on that.
By: wbwvids. on 28 Feb 12, 22:21:40
The point is, the double D-ring system has no moving? parts to fail and it's a well-proven system. It's light, simple, very low profile (most of the quick release systems add a lot of bulk) and infinitely adjustable. Some people like the quick release, some don't. Not a problem.
By: Rtype1000. on 28 Feb 12, 21:54:53
"quick release" is safe. Double D is just something we are used to. Nothing to do with safety. I use double D, but there is no reason to go against quick release. And from somebody who do a lot of track ... street is a lot more dangereus place than track. On the road I wear more protection than on the track. So i dont care what they are using in MotoGP.?

I don't know if it's safe or not. But the double D-ring system is lightweight, has a very thin profile, is infinitely adjustable and has been proven for many years. It's an elegant design with no moving parts. It far? outweighs any "quick release" advantage. Ask yourself this: which chin strap retainer system is used by motorcycle racers, who depend on their gear for safety? There's your answer.

My helmet has the double D rings, but I installed a quick-release buckle, which bypasses them. It's far more convenient, and? the company that manufactured it claims that it can hold thousands of pounds. Is this unsafe? If so, why? Thanks.

do you not get a bit distracted and? spend too much time looking behind you? i know i would lol
By: five4orever. on 03 Nov 11, 02:04:22
this is the Exact system that i desiged? over 20 years ago, but didnt follow up with cos the field of vision would be to restricted for the rider, its far more effective to use a flexiable lightweight mirrored plastic mirror, like an internal wing mirror, and route it throught he helmet using optical grade fibre optics, that way you dont have a heavey mirror system inside the helmet, and you can bend the optics packs around the inside of the helmet without restrictions :)

The bike would? definitely still need mirrors as required by law.
By: mistadj. on 26 Aug 11, 17:56:07
I mean if the bike would pass inspection with? mirror blocks
