I graduated from MMI in 2005. My first industry job was at an aftermarket shop paying $10/hr. I got an offer 6 months later from a Harley dealer for $12/hr. After 2 months they bumped me up to $13 and then fired me less than year later because I was looking for a job that paid more. Found another job at a dealership starting at $9. They said the most they could pay me $11/hr. I'm still paying for that student loan, but I'm making nearly $20/hr? now driving a delivery truck. Go figure.

I'm interested in hearing what you have to say. I was talking to an MMI rep today, and have on and off for about 6 months. I have the forms in my email box and am waiting to send them in. Let me know. I don't want to get dicked again by another shitty school Just? attended AIU for 1 1/2 years and that school totally sucked.

@RichSweat1 I graduated from MMI, Phoenix in 2002. I got a couple of low paying jobs at Harley dealers, but? not much else.

@dtsf89 As a 2002 graduate, I agree. I would consider joining the lawsuit if it is still active. I also applied to work at another UTI school. I have an? advanced degree in Adult Education and also their own certificate from MMI. After five interviews they just dropped me. I don't mind not getting the job...it's just weird. Maybe because I told one interview group that "not everyone SHOULD get a certificate if it was the wrong career choice.

I graduated in Jan. 1994 and it's STILL hard finding a job. I STARVE every? winter and when I do work, the pay usually sucks. They've flooded the job market with rookies that only last a year or 2 if they manage to find a job. I still do it because I LOVE motorcycles... I wish I'd become a chef though. Tired of being hungry and broke. I've got bitchin' bike though.

@RichSweat1 what i meant to say, was that,? when you go to sign up at a school of this kind, don't just sign papers willy nilly, you should ask specific questions and demand documented answers in plain English, not the fancy terms they use so you don't understand anything...and finally, don't just rely on the school to take care of your life, because you are the only one able to do this. MMI will provide you with a degree and some basic knowledge, so it's up to you to put that in good use

When I went ...I was promissed a box of tools & JOB placement. Find a old shop that well established and offer to work for free if? you have to. Learn from the old timers,anyone down there willing to teach or show you. ANYWAY.... kids I'm 59 & still bitter take my advice or not...good luck.

stop whining people, i'm from Greece and i went to a school that i thought was the equivalent of MMI or Wyotech. After i finished i decided i want to move to the States to live.But then i found out that me degree was nothing in America, worthless, just a piece of paper. Somebody even told me that the education at my school, apart from the technical courses, is the equivalent of a hischool in America. A HIGHSCHOOL. all i'm saying is, if you have to go, go ask them about? everything, they can't lie

If you go to school for them to find a job for you ... dude ... go back? to WalMart seriously. You go there to study and they help you give small steps towards your carreer job but they are never employment agencies, they are just a school where you learn to after-perform. Just stand up, print resumes, build a portfolio/website and go look for a job.

I got a close friend that is there with like 6 months tio go... he's holding a 4.0 (he has previous mechanic experience) and loves it... he's already got an offer for Harley Davidson Australia... fact is the trolls are disgruntled cant hack crybaby bitches... anyone condiering this school... go for it... just dont go in with a "bad attitude" like your a cool biker... because that doesn't? mean anything there, they want professional techs, not tards in leather and neon foam spike fags...
